PARKING
Mrs Graves was taking a party of children to The Old Vicarage this morning. She was not able to get the mini bus into the bus bay because parents had parked and left their vehicles. She had to park across the entrance to the school, for the safety of the children getting onto the mini bus, only to be verbally abused by parents and a taxi driver. This was a situation not of her making and was totally unacceptable.
Our priority is the safety of our children.
We would remind parents that the bus bay is for dropping children off, not for parking.

INTERNATIONAL VISITORS
The international visitors are leaving today. We have had a very rewarding week. Our children have exchanged many art and craft projects with teachers from Romania, France, Belgium, Spain, The Reunion Islands and Turkey. We shall be sad to see them go. We have gained such a lot from their visit. Mainly, that we are very privileged to live where we do. The Romanian?s and the Turk?s in particular, have very little compared with us but they were so happy to share everything they had.
Thanks to our host families, the Beadsworth?s and the Sinden?s, they did a sterling job and both children were very happy and really enjoyed themselves.
Thanks also, to all of the staff and governors for their time (all extra) in taking care of and making our visitors welcome.
Thanks to Miss Rehman and Miss Tees for being excellent hosts.
To our children, you were wonderful, everyone was full of praise for your enthusiasm, politeness and warmth.
(We know you?re wonderful anyway!)
